EstimateScreen helps homeowners review contractor estimates. Estimate photos and PDFs are OCR-scanned and parsed primarily in your browser. When you are signed in and run or save a review, EstimateScreen may store account information, project information, extracted estimate text, analysis results, comparison results, and usage events in our Supabase-hosted application database so your projects and access can work across sessions.
Account authentication and application data are provided through Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe. EstimateScreen does not store your full payment-card number. Stripe may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under Stripe's own privacy terms.
Do not upload documents containing information you are not authorized to review. Automated OCR can be inaccurate. EstimateScreen currently loads OCR/PDF software libraries from third-party content-delivery networks, so your browser may contact those providers to download software.
The app may also store preferences and recent-review information locally in your browser for convenience.
You may clear locally stored history from the app. Signed-in users can contact EstimateScreen to request help with account or stored application data. This launch notice should be reviewed by qualified counsel before broad commercial promotion and updated as analytics, support tools, or additional data processors are added.
